All the work is created in the studio.

I use techniques of representation and abstraction and use a variety of tools, whatever seems to work. The process involves assessment and constant alteration of the work until I feel satisfied with the outcome. Oftentimes, experimentation and recklessness serves as a creative catalyst.

I look for those magical moments when the painting takes a sudden turn that surprises and excites me.

It’s a dance. Sometimes I lead the painting and more often, the painting leads me.
